White liquid-cooled gaming desktop

This Velztorm Lux system arrives in a white chassis with a 360 mm AIO cooler and RGB lighting. It runs Windows 10 Pro on a 4th Gen AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-core processor with 64 MB L3 cache and boost clocks up to 4.9 GHz. A GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 8 GB GDDR6 and 16 GB of DDR4 memory complete the core platform.

Enthusiast CPU paired with entry GPU

The 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X suits creators who render, compile or stream while gaming, but the RTX 3050 limits high-refresh 1440p or 4K play. Buyers who need stronger rasterisation or ray-tracing headroom should look at a configuration with a higher-tier graphics card.

1 TB SATA SSD boot drive

The single 1 TB SATA SSD provides the operating system and primary storage on the SATA bus. Users who want faster sequential speeds or additional bulk storage will need to add another drive.

Questions about this item

Should I pick 16GB, 32GB, 64GB or 128GB DDR4 for this Lux build?

16GB DDR4 handles current games and multitasking well. Step to 32GB if you run heavy background apps or stream. 64GB or 128GB only pay off for professional video editing or virtualisation workloads.

What does the 3.4 GHz base and 4.9 GHz boost on the Ryzen 9 5950X mean once the PC is running?

The 16-core CPU runs at 3.4 GHz under sustained load and can lift single cores to 4.9 GHz for short bursts, giving fast frame rates in games and quick response in multi-threaded tasks.

The RTX 3050 uses PCIe 4.0 — what does that cap in practice?

The card connects through a PCIe 4.0 x8 link, so bandwidth tops out at the Gen 4 x8 ceiling. In real use the 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer and GPU compute are the limiting factors, not the slot.
