Velztorm Lux gaming desktop

This white desktop system ships new with a sixteen-core AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processor, 64GB of DDR4 memory and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card with 8GB GDDR6. A 1TB SATA SSD and a 6TB hard drive provide the primary storage. A 360mm liquid cooler and a 1000W power supply complete the core hardware.

Suited for multi-threaded workloads and 1440p play

The sixteen cores and 64GB DDR4 suit content creators, streamers and developers who run heavy multi-threaded applications alongside games. Buyers who need ECC memory, a workstation-class GPU or more than 6TB of internal storage should look at a different class of machine.

The sixteen-core Ryzen 9 5950X defines the platform

This CPU delivers sixteen cores with a 64MB L3 cache and boost clocks up to 4.9GHz, setting the performance ceiling for every task the system handles. All other components are scaled around that processor.

Questions about this item

What does the 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X mean for multitasking and heavy workloads?

Sixteen cores and 64 MB cache let the processor run many threads at once, so rendering, streaming and background tasks share the CPU without slowing the game.

How does the PCIe 4.0 link affect the RTX 3060 Ti in this system?

The graphics card uses a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, giving full bandwidth for the 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer and avoiding any interface bottleneck.

Will the 360 mm AIO cooler fit in a standard mid-tower case?

The white 360 mm liquid cooler mounts to a three-fan radiator, so the case must support a 360 mm top or front radiator location.
