Velztorm Mini Lux SFF gaming desktop

The Velztorm Mini Lux is a small-form-factor gaming desktop built around a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 16GB DDR4 system memory, a 2TB SATA SSD and Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. A 750W power supply and a 240mm AIO liquid cooler support the high-core-count CPU in the compact white chassis.

Best for high-thread workloads.

This system suits creators and multitaskers who need 32 threads for rendering, compilation or heavy multitasking alongside 1080p gaming. Buyers who require Bluetooth connectivity, a second graphics card, additional internal drive bays or a newer operating system than Windows 10 Pro should look elsewhere.

The 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X defines the performance

The single specification that decides fit is the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X with 16 cores, 32 threads and 64MB L3 cache. This CPU delivers workstation-class multi-thread throughput in a small-form-factor box; if your workload does not scale beyond eight cores, the extra silicon and cooling cost become unnecessary.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the Ryzen 9 5950X is boosting to 4.9 GHz after setup?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab or a tool like HWMonitor and run a heavy load; the CPU frequency should reach 4.9 GHz on active cores while temperatures stay within limits thanks to the 240mm AIO liquid cooler.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The Mini Lux desktop, 750W power supply, 240mm AIO liquid CPU cooler with RGB lighting, Windows 10 Pro licence, Wi-Fi antenna and power cord are included; a monitor, keyboard, mouse and any additional storage drives are not included.

Which capacity of the 2TB SATA SSD version should I choose?

This model ships with a single 2TB SATA SSD as the only internal drive; if you need more space later you can add another SATA SSD or a 2.5-inch hard drive, but no larger factory option exists for this configuration.
