Velztorm Mini Lux SFF gaming desktop

The Velztorm Mini Lux is a small-form-factor gaming desktop finished in white. It ships with Windows 10 Home and a 750 W power supply, targeting players who want a compact pre-built system. A 240 mm AIO liquid cooler with RGB lighting handles the processor thermals. The chassis includes Wi-Fi 802.11n and wired Ethernet.

Ryzen 9 5950X with 32 GB DDR4 and 4 TB PCIe SSD

The 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X runs at a 3.40 GHz base clock and can boost to 4.9 GHz with 64 MB of L3 cache. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 memory provides headroom for modern titles and multitasking. A 4 TB PCIe NVMe SSD stores a large library, though the single drive leaves no room for a secondary mechanical volume. The GeForce RTX 3050 with 8 GB GDDR6 covers 1080p gaming, but higher resolutions will exhaust its frame buffer.

Connectivity and build considerations

The rear panel supplies two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1 port, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 port, HDMI, DisplayPort and a headset jack. No optical drive or webcam is included. The small footprint frees desk space, yet the SFF layout limits future graphics-card upgrades to models that fit the chassis and the 750 W budget.

Questions about this item

Will my existing DDR4 memory modules work if I want to add more RAM to the Ryzen 9 5950X system?

Yes, the PC uses 32GB DDR4 DIMM memory, so additional DDR4 modules are compatible with the four DIMM slots on the motherboard.

How can I verify the GeForce RTX 3050 is running at PCIe 4.0 speeds after I set up the Mini Lux?

Open GPU-Z or Task Manager and confirm the link width shows PCIe 4.0 x8 or x16 and the memory type reads 8GB GDDR6.

What cables and peripherals are included in the box with the Velztorm Mini Lux, and what must I buy separately?

The box contains the SFF desktop, 750W power supply with power cord, 240mm AIO liquid CPU cooler installed, and Windows 10 Home licence; you must supply your own monitor, keyboard, mouse and display cables.
