Compact Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Mini Lux is a small-form-factor gaming desktop finished in white. It pairs a 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X processor with a GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card. The system includes 32GB of DDR4 memory and 2TB of storage across two 1TB PCIe SSDs. It targets enthusiasts who want high core counts and strong 1440p gaming performance in a compact chassis.

Connectivity and Wireless Limits

The desktop provides one HDMI and one DisplayPort output driven by the RTX 3070. It offers two USB 3.0 Type-A, two USB 3.2 Gen1, four USB 2.0, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1 and one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 port. Wired networking uses a standard RJ-45 Ethernet jack. Wireless connectivity is limited to 802.11n Wi-Fi, which caps throughput well below modern ax or ac standards, and the system has no Bluetooth support.

Build and Upgrade Considerations

The unit arrives fully assembled with Windows 10 Pro installed and a 240mm AIO liquid cooler fitted to the CPU. The small-form-factor layout restricts internal space, so adding full-length expansion cards or extra 3.5-inch drives may not be possible. The 750W power supply is sized for the factory configuration; significant GPU upgrades would likely require a higher-capacity unit that also fits the chassis.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2x1TB PCIe SSD or a single larger drive?

The system ships with two 1TB PCIe SSDs giving 2TB total capacity. That layout lets the OS and games sit on separate volumes without extra cost.

What does the Ryzen 9 5950X 3.40GHz base and 4.9GHz boost mean in daily use?

Sixteen cores and 32 threads at up to 4.9GHz handle heavy multitasking and content creation while the 3.40GHz base keeps thermals manageable in the SFF chassis.

How fast are the USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C and HDMI ports in practice?

USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C runs at 10Gbps for quick external drives, while the single HDMI and DisplayPort are driven by the RTX 3070 for 4K high-refresh output.
