Compact SFF gaming desktop

The Velztorm Mini Lux is a small-form-factor gaming PC built around a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processor and a GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory. It targets enthusiasts who want high core counts and modern GPU performance inside a white 10.5-inch chassis that fits on a desk or shelf. The system ships with Windows 10 Home and 16GB of DDR4 memory for immediate play.

240mm AIO liquid cooling and 750W power

A 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler keeps the 16-core CPU at stable temperatures during extended sessions, while the 750W supply feeds both the processor and the RTX 3070 without external cables. The SFF layout concentrates airflow through the radiator, so fan noise rises under load but remains contained within the compact case. Idle power draw stays low thanks to the efficient platform.

Upgrade from mid-range towers or older SFF builds

This configuration replaces a mainstream ATX tower with a six- or eight-core CPU and a previous-generation GPU, delivering twice the thread count and a significant graphics leap in a fraction of the volume. The jump is worth it when you need 32 threads for streaming or compilation and want RTX 3070 class 1440p performance without a full-size case. Buyers who need more than 1TB of fast storage or additional PCIe slots should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How is the 240mm AIO liquid CPU cooler installed, and what step do builders often miss?

The 240mm AIO liquid CPU cooler comes pre-installed on the Ryzen 9 5950X inside the SFF chassis. The step often missed is checking that the pump header is firmly seated on the motherboard CPU_FAN connector so the cooler reports speed to the BIOS.

What maintenance or replacement will the 1TB SATA SSD need later?

The 1TB SATA SSD has no moving parts, so it requires no mechanical maintenance. Plan to replace it only when its write endurance is reached or if you need more capacity than 1TB.

What limit appears first on the RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 under sustained gaming loads?

The 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer on the RTX 3070 fills before the GPU core hits its thermal ceiling, so texture-heavy titles at 1440p or 4K will hit the VRAM limit first.
