Micro Tower Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Mini Pilum is a micro tower gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X eight-core processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. It ships with 128GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and the system includes a 750W power supply, RGB lighting and a 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The 120mm AIO liquid cooler is designed to manage CPU temperatures during extended gaming or rendering sessions rather than only short bursts. The 750W power supply provides headroom for the Ryzen 7 5700X and RTX 3050 to maintain their boost clocks without throttling. RGB fans add airflow across the motherboard and storage to support consistent performance over long periods.

128GB DDR4 Capacity

This configuration includes 128GB of DDR4 DIMM memory, the maximum offered for this platform. Buyers who need more memory than this system can accept should consider a workstation-class platform. The four-slot DDR4 layout limits future expansion beyond the factory configuration.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the 120mm AIO and 750W PSU get when the Ryzen 7 5700X and RTX 3050 run all day?

The 120mm AIO liquid cooler handles the 8-core 5700X heat output, while the 750W supply runs the RTX 3050 and 128GB DDR4 without hitting its limit, keeping noise and thermals in check during extended sessions.

What must I already own to start using this Micro Tower since no monitor is included?

You need a display with an HDMI input, plus a keyboard and mouse for the USB 3.2 Gen1 or USB 2.0 ports, because the system ships without a screen, webcam or optical drive.

Will my older USB 2.0 peripherals and Bluetooth 4.2 headset work alongside the WiFi 5 and newer USB 3.2 Gen1 ports?

Yes, four USB 2.0 ports and Bluetooth 4.2 are built in, so legacy mice, keyboards and audio devices connect directly while the 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless handles network traffic.
