Micro-tower gaming desktop

The Velztorm Mini Pilum is a compact gaming desktop built around an 8-core Ryzen 7 5700X processor and a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card. It ships with 128GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. A 120mm AIO liquid cooler and 750W power supply support the components in a black micro-tower chassis.

Upgrade from entry-level systems

This configuration replaces a basic office PC or an older pre-built that relies on integrated graphics and 16GB of memory. The jump is worth it when you need 8-core processing throughput, 8GB GDDR6 video memory for 1440p gaming, and a large NVMe drive for game libraries and content-creation scratch space.

Check motherboard memory slots and OS preference

Verify that the motherboard can populate the advertised 128GB across its DIMM slots before ordering. The unit ships with Windows 10 Home; a Windows 11 Pro upgrade is available if your software environment requires it. Confirm that your monitor provides an HDMI input for the single video output.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 120mm AIO radiator need inside the Micro Tower case?

The 120mm AIO liquid cooler uses a single 120mm radiator that mounts to the case fan location; verify your Micro Tower chassis has a 120mm fan mount with enough depth for the radiator and tubing.

How is the 128GB DDR4 memory installed and which slot population order avoids a no-post?

The board takes four DDR4 DIMM slots; populate all four with matching 32GB modules in the same channel pairs (usually slots 2 and 4 first, then 1 and 3) so the memory controller trains correctly.

When should the 120mm AIO liquid cooler be serviced or replaced?

AIO coolers are sealed units; plan to replace the whole 120mm AIO after 3–5 years or if pump noise rises and CPU temperatures climb under load.
