Micro Tower Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Mini Pilum is a compact gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X eight-core processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. It ships with 64GB of DDR4 memory and a 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed for immediate use.

750W PSU and 120mm AIO Cooling

A 750-watt power supply supports the CPU and GPU while leaving headroom for future upgrades. The 120mm all-in-one liquid cooler keeps the processor at stable temperatures during extended sessions. RGB fans add customisable lighting inside the micro-tower chassis.

Upgrade From Entry-Level Systems

This configuration replaces older desktops limited to quad-core CPUs, smaller SSDs and 16GB or 32GB of RAM. The jump is worthwhile when you need eight cores for multitasking, 64GB memory for heavy workloads and 4TB of fast NVMe storage for large game libraries.

Questions about this item

Does the PCIe 4.0 x16 slot on this Mini Pilum MT cap the RTX 3050 at x8 bandwidth?

The RTX 3050 connects through a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot on the AM4 platform, so the card runs at full x16 electrical width with no lane reduction.

What motherboard form factor and case clearance does this Micro Tower chassis require for the 120 mm AIO radiator?

The Micro Tower fits a Micro-ATX board and mounts the 120 mm AIO radiator to the rear 120 mm fan location with standard hole spacing.

How is the 64 GB DDR4 kit installed on the AM4 motherboard, and which slot pair do builders often populate first by mistake?

Install the four DIMMs into the two grey slots first (A2 and B2) for dual-channel operation; populating the black slots first leaves the board in single-channel mode.
