Mini Pilum MT Desktop

The Velztorm Mini Pilum MT is a micro-tower gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X eight-core processor running at 3.60 GHz with a 4.4 GHz boost. It pairs that CPU with a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card carrying 4 GB of GDDR5 memory and 32 GB of DDR4 system memory. Storage combines a 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD with a 2 TB hard drive, and the system ships with Windows 11 Home pre-installed.

Thermals and Acoustics

A 120 mm all-in-one liquid cooler handles the processor, while RGB fans move air through the chassis. The 750 W power supply delivers headroom for the configured components. Connectivity includes WiFi 5 (802.11a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.2 and wired Ethernet, so wireless traffic does not add thermal load. In typical desktop and light gaming use the cooling solution keeps temperatures steady and fan noise low.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under extended workloads the AIO continues to transfer heat away from the Ryzen 7 5700X, allowing the eight cores to maintain elevated clocks without thermal throttling. The GTX 1050 Ti operates within its 75 W envelope, so the 750 W unit runs well below its maximum capacity. This balance means the system remains stable during long gaming sessions or render jobs rather than dropping performance after a short burst.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler in the Micro Tower case, and what step do builders often miss?

Mount the radiator to the case fan slots, attach the pump block to the Ryzen 7 5700X with the supplied bracket, then connect the pump header and fan cable to the motherboard; the step often missed is removing the protective film from the cold plate before seating the block.

What maintenance or replacement will the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler and 750W power supply need later?

The AIO is a sealed loop so it requires no coolant top‑up, but the 120mm fan should be cleaned of dust every few months; the 750W PSU has no user‑serviceable parts and only needs replacement if it fails or if a future GPU upgrade exceeds its capacity.

What limit appears first during sustained gaming on the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5?

The 4GB GDDR5 frame buffer fills quickly at 1080p with high textures, forcing the driver to swap to system DDR4 and causing noticeable stutter before the Ryzen 7 5700X or the 120mm AIO thermal limit is reached.
