Mini ITX gaming desktop

The Velztorm Minixa is a compact gaming desktop built on a Mini ITX platform for players who want high frame rates in a small footprint. It ships with Windows 10 Pro and a 750W power supply to support the included components.

6-core Ryzen 5 5600X with RTX 3060 Ti

The single specification that decides fit is the pairing of a 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X processor running at 3.70 GHz up to 4.6 GHz with an RTX 3060 Ti graphics card carrying 8 GB GDDR6 memory on a PCIe 4.0 interface.

Sustained load with air cooling and 750W

Under sustained load the RGB air-cooled CPU cooler and the 750W power supply maintain stable delivery to the 5600X and RTX 3060 Ti while 32 GB DDR4 and 2 TB of PCIe NVMe storage keep data flowing without throttling.

Questions about this item

What does the 4.6 GHz boost clock on the Ryzen 5 5600X mean for real-world gaming frame rates?

The 6-core, 12-thread processor reaches 4.6 GHz under load, keeping 1080p and 1440p titles fed to the RTX 3060 Ti without bottlenecking the 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer.

What does the PCIe 4.0 link on the RTX 3060 Ti cap in this build?

The GPU runs on a PCIe 4.0 connection, so storage and texture streaming hit full Gen 4 bandwidth instead of falling back to Gen 3 speeds.

Will the Mini ITX case and 750 W PSU handle the RTX 3060 Ti and two NVMe drives?

The 14.25-inch-wide Mini ITX chassis ships with a 750 W supply and RGB air cooler, leaving room for the dual-slot RTX 3060 Ti and both PCIe NVMe SSDs.
