Mini ITX Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Minixa is a compact gaming desktop built around a 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 16GB DDR4 RAM and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD, running Windows 10 Home. The small chassis suits setups where desk space is limited but a dedicated GPU is still required.

750W Power Supply Thermal Balance

A 750W power supply feeds the CPU, GPU and RGB-lit air cooler inside the 14.25 x 7.25 x 10.25 inch case. The WINDFORCE 3X cooler on the graphics card and the CPU air cooler share the internal airflow, keeping temperatures controlled during typical gaming sessions. Fan noise remains moderate because the power headroom reduces sustained high-RPM operation.

Connectivity and Upgrade Path

Wi-Fi 6 AX200 and Bluetooth 5.2 provide modern wireless links, while Ethernet, HDMI, DisplayPort and multiple USB 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2 Type-A plus a USB 3.2 Type-C port handle wired peripherals. The Mini ITX motherboard limits internal expansion to a single graphics slot and two memory slots, so buyers who want more storage bays or additional add-in cards will need a larger platform.

Questions about this item

How do I add more DDR4 memory to the Mini ITX chassis?

Remove the side panel, locate the two DIMM slots beside the Ryzen 5 5600X socket, align each module notch with the slot key and press down until both retention clips latch.

What component will need replacement first under heavy gaming loads?

The 750W power supply fan bearings typically wear out before the RTX 3050 WINDFORCE 3X cooler or the RGB air CPU cooler.

Which thermal limit appears first during sustained 4.6 GHz boost on the 6-core processor?

The CPU cooler hits its heat‑soak ceiling before the RTX 3050 8GB GDDR6 or the 1TB PCIe SSD reach throttling points.
