Velztorm Minixa Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Minixa is a Mini ITX gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X six-core processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 memory, a 2TB SATA SSD and Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. A 750W power supply and RGB air cooling complete the compact black chassis.

Suits 1080p gamers and content creators needing

This system fits users who want a ready-to-play Windows 10 Pro machine with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 in a Mini ITX form factor. Buyers who need a larger chassis for additional drive bays or full-length graphics cards should look elsewhere. The single HDMI and DisplayPort outputs limit multi-monitor setups beyond two displays.

Storage uses SATA signalling on the 2TB SSD

The configured solid-state drive communicates over the SATA interface rather than a PCIe-based protocol. This caps sequential transfer speeds at the SATA ceiling. Shoppers who require the higher throughput of a PCIe-attached drive for heavy scratch-disk workloads should consider a different configuration.

Questions about this item

What does the 3.70 GHz base clock on the Ryzen 5 5600X mean once the system is running games?

The processor runs at 3.70 GHz under steady load and can boost to 4.6 GHz for short bursts, giving six cores and twelve threads enough headroom for modern titles at 1080p.

How does the PCIe 4.0 link on the RTX 3050 affect real-world throughput?

The card uses a PCIe 4.0 x8 connection, so the eight gigabytes of GDDR6 memory can feed the GPU at the full interface speed without bottlenecking the 3050.

Will the Mini ITX chassis and 750W supply fit a standard ATX motherboard tray?

The case measures 14.25 IN x 7.25 IN x 10.25 IN and weighs 15.7 lb, so it only fits Mini ITX boards and the 750W unit is sized for that form factor.
