Mini ITX gaming desktop for 1080p play

The Velztorm Minixa packs a 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X and an RTX 3060 Ti with 8 GB GDDR6 into a 14.25 x 7.25 x 10.25 inch chassis. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD give quick load times for modern titles. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed, so the system is ready to game out of the box.

PCIe 4.0 GPU and Wi-Fi 6 set the bandwidth ceiling

The graphics card runs on a PCIe 4.0 link, so it cannot exceed that interface’s throughput. Wireless connectivity tops out at Wi-Fi 6 AX200 with Bluetooth 5.2, while wired LAN uses a single RJ-45 port. Video output is limited to one HDMI and one DisplayPort, restricting multi-monitor setups to two displays.

Compact black case with 750 W supply and RGB cooling

A 750 W power unit feeds the components, and an RGB-lit air cooler handles the CPU thermals inside the Mini ITX frame. Front I/O supplies two USB 3.1 Gen1, four USB 3.0 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen1 and one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 port, plus a combo audio jack. The 15.7 lb weight makes the box easy to move between desks or LAN events.

Questions about this item

Is the 16GB DDR4 memory expandable or should I choose a different capacity?

The system ships with 16GB DDR4 DIMM in a Mini ITX chassis that typically offers two slots; you can add another matching kit later if a slot remains free.

What does the 4.6GHz boost clock on the Ryzen 5 5600X deliver in actual gaming workloads?

The 6-core 12-thread CPU reaches 4.6GHz under single-threaded loads, keeping frame rates high in CPU-bound titles while the RTX 3060 Ti handles graphics.

Does the USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 port run at full 10Gbps with the RTX 3060 Ti's PCIe 4.0 interface?

The front-panel USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 connector provides up to 10Gbps bandwidth independent of the GPU's PCIe 4.0 x16 link.
