Mini ITX gaming desktop

The Velztorm Minixa packs a 5th Gen AMD Ryzen 5 5600X six-core processor and an NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti with 8GB GDDR6 into a compact Mini ITX chassis. It ships with 16GB DDR4 memory, a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, plus a 750W power supply. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed for immediate use.

Upgrade from integrated or older discrete graphics

This system replaces machines that rely on integrated graphics or earlier mid-range cards for 1080p and 1440p gaming. The RTX 3060 Ti adds VR-ready performance, G-SYNC support and DirectX 12 capability. The jump is worth it when your current desktop cannot sustain high frame rates in modern titles or lacks PCIe 4.0 GPU bandwidth.

16GB DDR4 and 1TB NVMe headroom

Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 handles current games and multitasking comfortably, while the 1TB NVMe drive holds a sizable library with fast load times. Memory-intensive workloads such as heavy video editing or large-scale virtualisation will exceed the installed RAM. Storage-heavy users with multiple AAA titles and media archives will eventually need additional drives.

Questions about this item

What are the Mini ITX case dimensions and weight for desk placement?

The chassis measures 14.25 IN wide, 7.25 IN deep and 10.25 IN high and weighs 15.7lb, so it fits on a compact desk or shelf.

How is the 750W power supply installed and what step is often missed?

The 750W unit comes pre-installed; the step people miss is connecting both the 24-pin ATX and the 8-pin CPU power cables before first boot.

When will the 16GB DDR4 memory need upgrading and what type is required?

Upgrade to higher-capacity DDR4 DIMMs when 16GB limits multitasking; only DDR4 modules are compatible with this platform.
