Compact Mini ITX Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Minixa is a new small-form-factor gaming desktop built around a 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X processor and a GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card with 8GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD, powered by a 750W supply and running Windows 11 Home.

Suits 1080p and 1440p gamers wanting a tidy

This system fits players who value a compact Mini ITX chassis measuring 14.25 x 7.25 x 10.25 inches and weighing 15.7lb. Builders who need multiple graphics cards, extensive internal drive bays, or a full-size ATX motherboard layout should look elsewhere.

GPU memory and memory type fixed at 8GB GDDR7

The GeForce RTX 5060 provides exactly 8GB of GDDR7 video memory on a PCIe 5.0 interface with a 2.50 GHz boost clock. If your workflow demands a larger frame buffer or a different memory standard, this configuration will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

How do I install the GeForce RTX 5060 into the Mini ITX case, and which power cables from the 750W PSU are often missed?

The graphics card mounts in the single PCIe 5.0 slot on the Mini ITX motherboard. Connect both 8-pin PCIe power leads from the 750W unit; builders frequently leave the second connector loose, causing no-post errors.

What maintenance will the 32GB DDR4 memory and 1TB PCIe SSD require over time?

The DDR4 DIMMs and NVMe SSD have no moving parts and need no scheduled service. Dust the CPU cooler and case intake filters every few months to keep the Ryzen 5 5600X temperatures stable.

Which limit appears first during extended gaming on the RTX 5060 with its 2.50 GHz boost clock?

The 8GB GDDR7 frame buffer fills before the GPU core hits its thermal ceiling at 2.50 GHz, so texture-heavy 4K titles will trigger memory swapping earlier than core throttling.
