Velztorm Natalix SFF Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Natalix is a small-form-factor gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card, 64GB of DDR4 memory and a 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD. It ships with Windows 10 Pro and a 750W power supply.

Connectivity limits of the 802.11ax wireless

The system uses 802.11ax Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless links, while wired networking runs over a standard RJ-45 port. Four USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports and one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen1 port provide 5 Gbps throughput; a single USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 port doubles that to 10 Gbps. Video output is limited to one HDMI and one DisplayPort connector from the RTX 3050.

4TB PCIe NVMe SSD as the sole storage device

All capacity comes from a single 4TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive; no hard drive or secondary SSD bay is mentioned. Buyers who need more storage or a separate drive for backups must add external solutions. The SFF chassis and 750W supply also restrict future graphics-card upgrades to models that fit the available space and power budget.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 64GB DDR4 option or look for a smaller kit?

The system ships with 64GB DDR4 already installed, so no smaller kit is needed unless you plan to reduce capacity for cost reasons.

What does the 4.7 GHz boost on the Ryzen 7 5800X mean for actual gaming?

The 8-core processor can reach 4.7 GHz on demanding threads, giving strong single-thread speed for game logic while the 16 threads handle background tasks.

Does the USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port run at 10 Gbps or is it limited by the motherboard?

The front-panel USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 port supports the full 10 Gbps rate when connected to a compatible device and cable.
