Velztorm Nix Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Nix is a pre-built gaming desktop finished in white. It ships with Windows 10 Pro installed and a 750W power supply. The system uses an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card.

Suits 1080p gaming not 4K or wireless

This desktop suits players targeting 1080p resolution with the RTX 3050 and 32GB DDR4 memory. It lacks Wi-Fi and Bluetooth so buyers needing wireless connectivity should look elsewhere. The 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD covers large libraries but there is no secondary drive bay mentioned.

4TB PCIe NVMe SSD capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD. It provides the total high-speed storage available for games and applications. No additional hard drive or secondary SSD is included in the configuration.

Questions about this item

What comes inside the white Velztorm Nix case and what must I add myself?

The desktop ships with the Ryzen 5 5600X, 32GB DDR4, 4TB PCIe SSD, RTX 3050 graphics card, 750W power supply, Windows 10 Pro, air cooler, HDMI, USB 3.2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen1, three USB 3.0 Type-A, four USB 2.0, microphone and headphone jacks, and Ethernet. No monitor, keyboard, mouse, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth are included.

Should I pick the 32GB DDR4 and 4TB PCIe SSD configuration or look for a different capacity?

This model is offered only with 32GB DDR4 and a single 4TB PCIe SSD. There are no alternative memory or storage sizes listed for the Nix, so the decision is simply whether that amount suits your workload.

What does the 4.6 GHz boost clock on the Ryzen 5 5600X mean for actual gaming frame rates?

The 6-core processor can reach 4.6 GHz under load, giving strong single-thread speed that helps the RTX 3050 deliver playable 1080p frame rates in modern titles when paired with the 32GB DDR4 and fast 4TB PCIe SSD.
