Built for 1080p and 1440p gaming

The Velztorm Nix desktop pairs a 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X processor with an RTX 3070 graphics card. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 4 TB SATA SSD provide capacity for a large game library and everyday multitasking. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed and the system ships in a white chassis.

Thermals and power in daily use

A 750 W power supply feeds the CPU and GPU while an air cooler handles the Ryzen 5 5600X. Under typical gaming loads the processor runs at its rated clocks and the graphics card stays within its thermal envelope. Fan noise remains at a moderate level for a mid-tower air-cooled build.

Connectivity and day-to-day practicality

The rear I/O offers three USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen 1 port and four USB 2.0 ports. A single HDMI output connects a display while Ethernet provides wired networking. Front-panel audio jacks give quick access for headset and microphone.

Questions about this item

How do I install the air cooling CPU cooler and what step do people get wrong?

The system ships with the air cooling CPU cooler already mounted on the Ryzen 5 5600X. The step people miss is re-seating the cooler after transit — check the four mounting screws are snug and the fan header is plugged into the CPU_FAN header before first boot.

What maintenance or replacement will the 4TB SATA SSD need later?

The 4TB SATA SSD has no moving parts, so routine maintenance is limited to keeping at least 10 % free space and running a TRIM-enabled OS. Plan to replace the drive once its SMART health indicators show excessive wear or after the manufacturer-rated TBW is reached.

What limit shows up first under sustained gaming loads on the RTX 3070?

The 750 W power supply and the air cooling CPU cooler set the practical ceiling. Under prolonged 4.6 GHz CPU boost plus full RTX 3070 load, the 750 W unit can hit its output limit before the GPU or CPU thermal throttles.
