Velztorm Nix White Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Nix is a pre-built gaming desktop finished in a Snow White chassis. It ships with a 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X processor, 16GB of DDR4 memory, a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD and a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6. Windows 10 Home is installed and the unit is powered by a 750W supply with air cooling for the CPU.

Installation Notes For A Pre-built System

The computer arrives fully assembled and tested by the builder, so no internal installation is required. Connect the included power cord, attach a display via the HDMI port and plug in peripherals using the available USB 2.0, USB 3.0, USB 3.2 Type-A and Type-C ports. The only common issue is forgetting to seat the graphics card power cables if they were disconnected for transit.

Check Your Peripherals And OS Preference

Verify that your monitor has an HDMI input or that you have a suitable adapter for the Radeon RX 6900 XT output. The system includes wired Ethernet only, so a network cable or separate wireless adapter is needed for Wi-Fi. This unit ships with Windows 10 Home; if you require Windows 11 Pro you must arrange the upgrade yourself.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the Radeon RX 6900 XT is running at its 4.6 GHz boost after setup?

Open Task Manager or AMD Software and confirm the GPU core clock reaches the advertised 4.6 GHz under load. The 16GB GDDR6 frame buffer should also report correctly in the same panel.

What ships inside the Velztorm Nix box and what must I add?

The desktop arrives with the Ryzen 5 5600X, 16GB DDR4, 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD, Radeon RX 6900 XT, 750W power supply, air CPU cooler, Windows 10 Home, keyboard and mouse. Only a display and network cable are required separately.

Which Velztorm Nix storage tier suits a large game library?

The configurable SSD options are 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, 2TB or 4TB. For dozens of modern titles the 2TB or 4TB PCIe NVMe drive gives ample space without adding a mechanical HDD.
