Ready-to-play desktop

The Velztorm Nix arrives as a complete gaming desktop with a 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor, a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory, 16GB DDR4 system memory and a 2TB SATA SSD. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed and the system is powered by a 750W supply. A white chassis and air cooling finish the build.

Buyers who want 1080p gaming with room to grow.

This configuration suits players targeting 1080p resolution in current titles and streamers who need a quiet white workstation. The single 2TB SATA drive leaves no spare bay for a second large drive, so anyone who wants multiple high-capacity volumes should look elsewhere. The lack of built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth also means wired networking or separate adapters are required.

2TB SATA SSD — the only large.

The 2TB SATA SSD is the sole mass-storage device installed; no hard drive or additional solid-state drive is present. Because the platform uses a SATA interface for this primary volume, sequential throughput is limited to the SATA standard rather than a faster protocol. Buyers who need more than 2TB of internal space or who require a different storage interface must plan an upgrade after purchase.

Questions about this item

Which configuration of the Velztorm Nix should I choose for 1080p gaming?

This model ships with a 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X, RTX 3050 with 8GB GDDR6, 16GB DDR4 and a 2TB SATA SSD — a fixed build aimed at 1080p play.

What does the 4.6 GHz boost clock mean once the PC is running games?

The Ryzen 5 5600X can reach 4.6 GHz on active cores, giving higher frame rates in CPU-bound scenes while the 750W supply keeps power stable.

How does the SATA SSD interface affect real-world load times?

The 2TB drive runs over SATA, so game launches and Windows boots are limited to SATA speeds rather than faster PCIe 4.0 transfer rates.
