White desktop for 1080p gaming

The Velztorm Nix is a pre-built gaming desktop finished in Snow White. It ships with a 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X processor, 16GB DDR4 memory and a 4TB SATA SSD. The GTX 1050Ti graphics card with 4GB GDDR5 targets 1080p play. Windows 10 Home is installed and a Microsoft Windows 11 Pro upgrade path is noted.

Air cooling and 750W supply

A 750W power supply feeds the CPU and GPU while an air cooler handles the 5600X thermal load. The chassis measures 8.75 IN x 15.75 IN x 17.5 IN and weighs 22.5lb. No wireless or Bluetooth hardware is included so network traffic runs over the wired RJ-45 port only.

Ports and upgrade notes

The rear I/O provides 3 USB 3.0 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen1, USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1, 4 USB 2.0, one HDMI, plus separate microphone and headphone jacks. There is no optical drive. The system was opened by technicians for the advertised configuration and carries a one-year manufacturer warranty from Velztorm. Buyers who want more storage bays or a higher-tier GPU should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X CPU and what step is often missed?

Seat the 5600X into the AM4 socket, lock the lever, then apply thermal paste before clamping the air cooler — skipping the paste causes overheating.

Which part of the Velztorm Nix will need replacement first?

The 750W power supply or the air-cooling CPU cooler are the likeliest candidates; the 4TB SATA SSD and 16GB DDR4 have no moving parts.

What limit appears first during long gaming sessions on the GTX 1050Ti?

The 4GB GDDR5 frame buffer fills before the 7008 MHz memory clock or the PCIe x16 3.0 link saturates.
