White Gaming Desktop for 1440p Play

The Velztorm Nix in Snow White is a pre-built desktop aimed at gamers who want a clean white aesthetic and solid 1440p performance out of the box. It ships with Windows 10 Home installed and a 750W power supply driving the components.

Upgrade from Entry 1080p Builds

This system replaces a basic 1080p rig by pairing the 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X with an RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6 card and 64GB DDR4 memory. The jump is worth it when you need higher frame rates at 1440p or want headroom for streaming and multitasking.

Check DDR4 Compatibility and OS Plans

Verify that any extra memory you add later is DDR4 DIMM, as the board does not support other generations. The included Windows 10 Home licence can be upgraded to Windows 11 Pro, so confirm which edition you prefer before ordering.

Questions about this item

What case clearance is needed for the 750W power supply and air CPU cooler in this desktop?

The system uses a standard desktop tower case with an air cooling CPU cooler and a 750W power supply; ensure your space fits a typical ATX mid-tower footprint with rear exhaust clearance.

Which cable must be connected to the RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6 card during installation, and where does it plug in?

Connect the PCIe power cables from the 750W supply directly to the graphics card's power connectors before booting; the card draws power only from the PSU, not the motherboard slot.

Can the 64GB DDR4 DIMM memory be expanded later, and what type is required?

The board supports DDR4 DIMM modules up to 128GB total; add matching DDR4 sticks in the free slots to reach the maximum capacity.
