Velztorm Nix Snow White desktop

This Velztorm Nix Snow White desktop is a pre-built gaming system built around a 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor and a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 16GB DDR4 RAM and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 10 Pro is installed and a 750W power supply drives the components.

Compatibility checklist

Verify that your monitor provides an HDMI input to match the single HDMI port on the graphics card. The motherboard offers three USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen1 port, four USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1 port for peripherals. Wired networking uses the onboard RJ-45 Ethernet jack; no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth hardware is included.

Thermals and power

An air cooler handles the CPU while the 750W unit supplies power to the complete build. The Radeon RX 6900 XT is a high-performance GPU that will generate noticeable heat under load, so expect the chassis fans to spin up during extended gaming sessions. Power draw will rise significantly when both the 6-core processor and the graphics card are fully utilised.

Questions about this item

Does the Velztorm Nix include a monitor or keyboard in the box?

The system ships as a desktop tower only with a 750W power supply and air cooling. A monitor, keyboard, mouse and any Wi-Fi adapter must be purchased separately.

Which RAM capacity should I choose for the Nix if I want to run modern games and multitask?

The base build comes with 16GB DDR4 DIMM. Configurable options are 32GB, 64GB or 128GB DDR4; 16GB handles current titles while 32GB or more gives headroom for heavy multitasking.

What does the 4.6 GHz boost clock on the Ryzen 5 5600X mean for actual gaming frame rates?

The 6-core processor can reach 4.6 GHz under load, feeding the Radeon RX 6900 XT with 16GB GDDR6. That combination delivers high frame rates at 1440p and playable 4K performance in DirectX 12 Ultimate titles.
