Built for 1080p and 1440p gaming

The Velztorm Nix is a white desktop PC built around a 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X processor and an RTX 3070 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory. 32GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SATA SSD come standard. A 750W power supply and air cooling support the components inside the chassis.

Suits players who want high frame rates at 1440p

This system suits buyers who want strong 1440p performance in current titles with DirectX 12 Ultimate support. It is not for buyers who need wireless connectivity, as the specification lists only Ethernet LAN. It is also not for users who require a larger or secondary storage drive beyond the single 1TB SATA SSD provided.

The 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer on the RTX 3070

The graphics card provides 8GB of GDDR6 video memory on a PCIe 4.0 interface. That capacity sets the texture and resolution ceiling for modern games. If your workflow demands more video memory for 4K assets or heavy compute tasks, this configuration will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB DDR4 option?

32 GB DDR4 is installed, giving plenty of headroom for modern games and multitasking; the other DDR4 capacities are available if you order a different configuration.

What does the 3.70 GHz base and 4.6 GHz boost mean for actual gameplay?

The 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X runs at 3.70 GHz base and can reach 4.6 GHz under load, delivering strong single-thread speed for high frame rates in CPU-bound titles.

How does the USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port limit transfer speed in practice?

USB 3.2 Gen1 caps at 5 Gbps, so the Type-C port will transfer at that rate with compatible drives; the three USB 3.0 Type-A ports share the same 5 Gbps limit.
