Built for high-refresh 1440p gaming

The Velztorm Nix Snow White desktop pairs a Ryzen 5 5600X six-core processor with a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card carrying 16GB of GDDR6 memory. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 system memory and a 2TB SATA SSD provide capacity for large libraries and fast level loads. A 750W power supply and air CPU cooler complete the white-themed chassis running Windows 10 Home.

Steps up from mid-range 1080p rigs

Builders moving from an 8GB GPU and 16GB of RAM will see the jump to 16GB GDDR6 and 32GB DDR4 remove texture-streaming stutters at 1440p ultra settings. The six-core CPU at 3.70GHz base and 4.6GHz boost keeps frame times consistent in CPU-bound titles. The upgrade is worth it when the monitor exceeds 1080p and the game catalogue demands more video memory.

Sustained loads stay stable with air cooling

The 750W unit delivers steady power to the 6900 XT during extended sessions while the air cooler manages the 5600X thermals without liquid maintenance. DirectX 12 Ultimate support and features such as AMD FreeSync and Radeon Anti-lag remain active throughout long plays. Rear I/O includes USB 3.2 Gen1, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI, USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1 and wired Ethernet for low-latency connectivity.

Questions about this item

Will the 750W power supply fit a standard ATX case?

The system ships with a 750W ATX power supply installed in the Velztorm Nix chassis; the unit uses a standard ATX form factor so it will mount in any case that accepts ATX supplies.

How do I install the Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card, and what step is often missed?

The RX 6900 XT is already seated in the primary PCIe x16 slot; the step people miss is connecting both 8-pin PCIe power cables from the 750W supply before the first boot.

What maintenance will the 32GB DDR4 memory and air CPU cooler need later?

Dust the air cooler fins and fan every few months with compressed air; the DDR4 DIMMs require no routine service unless you upgrade capacity, in which case you add matching DDR4 modules.
