White Snow desktop for 1080p gaming

This Velztorm Nix system arrives in a white chassis with a 750W power supply and air cooling. It runs a 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X processor at 3.70GHz with a 4.6GHz boost and 32MB cache. The graphics card is a GTX 1050Ti with 4GB GDDR5 memory on a PCIe x16 3.0 link. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

Suits 1080p esports and general use.

The 6-core CPU and 32GB DDR4 memory handle multitasking and current esports titles at 1080p. The GTX 1050Ti limits performance in newer AAA games at higher resolutions. Buyers who need more graphics power for 1440p or 4K gaming should look at a different system. No wireless networking is included.

1TB SATA SSD for OS and games

The single storage device is a 1TB SATA solid-state drive. It provides solid-state responsiveness for the operating system and game library. The SATA interface determines the sequential transfer ceiling. No additional hard drive or second SSD is fitted.

Questions about this item

How does the 3.70 GHz base clock on the Ryzen 5 5600X behave when the system is under load?

The six-core processor can boost up to 4.6 GHz when thermal headroom allows, so single-threaded tasks and game logic run at the higher frequency while multi-threaded workloads sit near the base clock.

What display bandwidth does the GTX 1050 Ti HDMI port actually support?

The card uses a PCIe 3.0 x16 link and its HDMI output is limited to the GTX 1050 Ti specification, so 4K at 60 Hz is the practical ceiling for a single monitor.

Will the 8.75 x 15.75 x 17.5 inch white chassis fit on a standard desk shelf?

At 22.5 lb the tower needs a shelf at least 17.5 inches tall and 15.75 inches deep; measure your space before ordering to ensure clearance for the air cooler exhaust.
