Purpose & Audience

The Velztorm Nix Snow White is a pre-built gaming desktop aimed at players who want a ready-to-use system with a white chassis. It ships with Windows 10 Pro installed and includes a 750W power supply.

Deciding Specification

The graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with 8GB GDDR6 memory on a PCIe 4.0 interface. This GPU determines whether the system meets the performance target for 1440p gaming or VR applications.

Thermals, Noise & Power

An air cooler handles the Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core processor which runs at a 3.70GHz base clock up to 4.6GHz boost. The 750W unit powers the CPU, GPU, 16GB DDR4 memory and 4TB SATA SSD under typical gaming loads.

Questions about this item

What does the 4.6 GHz boost clock on the Ryzen 5 5600X deliver in daily use?

The 6-core processor reaches 4.6 GHz when thermal headroom allows, giving snappy response in games and desktop tasks while the 32 MB L3 cache keeps data close to the cores.

How does the PCIe 4.0 link on the RTX 3060 Ti affect real-world throughput?

The graphics card runs on a PCIe 4.0 x16 connection, so the 8 GB GDDR6 memory sees full bandwidth without the bottleneck that older PCIe 3.0 platforms impose.

Will the 4 TB SATA SSD fit in a standard 2.5-inch drive bay?

Yes, the 4 TB SATA SSD uses the 2.5-inch form factor and connects through a regular SATA data and power cable, matching any desktop bay or caddy.
