Velztorm Nix Snow White gaming desktop

The Velztorm Nix Snow White is a pre-built gaming desktop finished in white. It runs on an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X six-core processor with 32MB cache and 16GB of DDR4 memory. Graphics are handled by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with 8GB GDDR6 memory. Storage consists of a 1TB SATA SSD and the system includes a 750W power supply and Windows 10 Pro.

Suits 1080p and 1440p gamers.

This configuration suits players targeting high frame rates at 1080p or 1440p resolution. The six-core CPU and 16GB DDR4 handle current titles and general productivity well. Buyers who want 4K ultra settings or run heavy multitasking workloads such as video editing or virtualisation will need more GPU memory and system RAM than this build provides.

1TB SATA SSD decides storage speed and capacity

The single 1TB SATA SSD sets both the total capacity and the transfer speed of the primary storage. SATA limits sequential throughput compared with faster interfaces. Users who install large game libraries or work with big media files should expect to add secondary drives for extra space and speed.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the Ryzen 5 5600X is hitting its 4.6 GHz boost after setup?

Open Task Manager or a hardware monitor and run a single-thread load; the CPU clock should reach 4.6 GHz on at least one core.

What accessories come in the box and which must be purchased separately?

The desktop includes a 750W power supply, air CPU cooler, Windows 10 Pro licence, keyboard, mouse and power cord; a monitor, Wi-Fi adapter and Bluetooth dongle are not included.

Which RAM and SSD capacity combination should I choose for 1080p gaming?

The 16 GB DDR4 and 1 TB SATA SSD configuration handles current 1080p titles well; select 32 GB DDR4 and a 2 TB SSD if you also stream or edit video.
