A gaming desktop with a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K, GeForce RTX 3050, 32GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD
The Velztorm Orix is a new gaming desktop built around a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. It ships with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD for fast load times. The GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card provides 8GB of GDDR6 video memory. This system targets gamers and creators who want high single-thread speed and modern platform features in a pre-built chassis.
The RTX 3050 operates on a PCIe 4.0 interface and supports DirectX 12 and G-SYNC for variable refresh rate monitors. Video output is limited to one HDMI port and one DisplayPort on the graphics card. Networking uses 802.11 a/b/n/ac/ax Wi-Fi and a single 2.5Gbps RJ-45 Ethernet port. The 850W power supply delivers ample headroom for the installed components but constrains future GPU upgrades to cards within a similar power envelope.
A 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler with RGB lighting handles thermal duties for the unlocked i9 processor inside the black desktop case. Front and rear I/O includes two USB 3.0 Type-A, two USB 3.1 Gen2, two USB 2.0, one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen2 and one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 port. Audio jacks for microphone and headphone are provided. The system runs Windows 10 Home 64-bit with a Windows 11 Pro upgrade path available. Buyers needing more than two video outputs or additional internal drive bays should look elsewhere.

Other versions of this model
The system ships with 32GB DDR5 4800MHz memory installed, which matches the 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K platform and leaves room for future expansion if the motherboard has spare slots.
The 16-core, 24-thread processor reaches 5.2 GHz on its 8 performance cores, giving strong single-thread speed for gaming and multi-thread throughput for content creation.
The 2.5Gbps LAN connection provides two-and-a-half times the bandwidth of 1Gbps Ethernet, reducing transfer times for large game installs and local network file moves.
