Velztorm Orix i9-12900K gaming desktop

The Velztorm Orix is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. It includes a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SATA SSD. An 850W power supply and a 360mm AIO liquid cooler support the high-performance components in a black chassis.

Suited for 1440p gaming and multitasking.

This system suits gamers targeting high frame rates at 1440p resolution and users running multi-threaded workloads such as content creation or streaming. Buyers who want faster storage performance should look elsewhere, as the 1TB drive uses the SATA interface. The Windows 10 Home installation also means enthusiasts seeking Windows 11 Pro out of the box will need to upgrade separately.

1TB SATA SSD storage interface

The single specification that decides fit is the 1TB SATA SSD. This drive connects via the SATA interface, which determines the maximum sequential read and write speeds available for game loading and file transfers. If your workflow demands the higher throughput of a different storage protocol, this desktop will not meet that requirement without a drive replacement.
