System purpose

The Velztorm Orix is a new gaming desktop built around a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K processor and GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics. It targets enthusiasts who want high single-thread speed and 16 cores for streaming, content creation and competitive play. Buyers needing a smaller chassis or a lower-power workstation should look elsewhere.

Graphics specification

The RTX 3060 Ti card ships with 8GB GDDR6 memory on a PCIe 4.0 interface and supports G-SYNC and DirectX 12. This GPU tier handles 1440p gaming at high refresh rates and VR workloads. Systems requiring dual-card scaling or 4K ray-traced performance beyond this tier will not be satisfied.

Cooling and power

A 360mm AIO liquid cooler manages the CPU thermals while the 850W power supply feeds the complete build. The liquid loop keeps core temperatures stable under sustained multi-thread loads. Acoustic output stays low during typical gaming sessions thanks to the large radiator surface.

Questions about this item

How does the i9-12900K's 5.2 GHz boost speed perform in actual gaming workloads?

The 16-core processor with 8 performance cores reaches 5.2 GHz boost clocks, delivering high frame rates in CPU-intensive titles while the 30MB cache reduces latency during complex game scenes.

What bandwidth does the RTX 3060 Ti's PCIe 4.0 interface provide for the graphics card?

The PCIe 4.0 connection supplies double the throughput of PCIe 3.0, ensuring the 8GB GDDR6 GPU receives texture and geometry data without bottleneck during 1440p gaming.

Will the 360mm AIO liquid cooler fit inside the Orix desktop chassis without clearance issues?

The system ships fully assembled with the 360mm radiator pre-installed, so the case dimensions already accommodate the cooler length and tubing routing.
