Velztorm Orix i9-12900K RTX 3070 desktop

The Velztorm Orix is a new gaming desktop built around a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. It pairs that CPU with a GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card carrying 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The system targets enthusiasts who want high core counts and ray-tracing-capable graphics in a single pre-built chassis. Windows 10 Home 64-bit is installed out of the box.

64GB DDR5 4800MHz and 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD

Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 DIMM memory running at 4800MHz provides ample headroom for multitasking and memory-intensive workloads. The 1TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive supplies fast boot and load times for games and applications. An 850W power supply and a 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler with RGB lighting support the high-performance components. Wireless connectivity uses 802.11 a/b/n/ac/ax alongside a 2.5Gbps RJ-45 port.

PCIe 4.0 GPU interface and USB port mix

The RTX 3070 connects through a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, so bandwidth scales with the platform's lane allocation. Rear I/O includes two USB 3.0 Type-A, two USB 3.1 Gen2, two USB 2.0, one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen2, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2, one HDMI and one DisplayPort. No optical drive, webcam or card reader is fitted. Buyers needing additional internal storage bays or legacy PS/2 ports should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need coolant refills or pump replacement over time?

The 360 mm AIO liquid CPU cooler is a sealed unit designed for the life of the system; no coolant refills are required and the pump is not a user-serviceable part.

Which component hits its limit first during sustained heavy loads — the 850 W power supply or the 360 mm AIO cooler?

The 850 W power supply sets the overall power ceiling for the i9-12900K and RTX 3070 combination, while the 360 mm AIO manages CPU thermals within that envelope.

How loud does the 360 mm AIO liquid cooler get when the i9-12900K runs at 5.2 GHz all day?

The 360 mm AIO uses three fans that ramp up under load; noise rises with fan speed but remains typical for a high-performance liquid cooler.
