Velztorm Pilum desktop for 1080p gaming

The Velztorm Pilum is a pre-built desktop aimed at players who want a ready-to-run Windows 10 Home system for 1080p gaming and everyday multitasking. An eight-core Ryzen 7 3700X processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 provide the core performance. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 750W power supply complete the main specification.

1TB SATA SSD plus 2TB HDD storage balance

The 1TB SATA SSD holds the operating system and a handful of active titles with short load times. The 2TB hard drive adds bulk capacity for larger game libraries, media files and backups. When the SSD fills, new installations must go to the slower mechanical drive or the user must uninstall older titles to free space.

RGB 120mm AIO liquid cooler and port selection

A 120mm all-in-one liquid cooler with RGB lighting keeps the Ryzen 7 3700X within thermal limits without a bulky air tower. The rear I/O supplies HDMI and DisplayPort outputs for dual-monitor setups, five USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB 3.1 Gen1 port, four USB 2.0 ports and a wired Ethernet jack. No Wi-Fi or Bluetooth hardware is included.

Questions about this item

Does the RTX 3050 graphics card require an additional power cable from the 750W supply?

The RTX 3050 draws its power through the motherboard PCIe slot and the 750W unit includes the necessary connectors, so no extra cable purchase is needed.

Which indicator confirms the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler is running after I press the power button?

The RGB lighting on the 120mm AIO cooler illuminates immediately and the pump vibration can be felt on the tubing, showing the loop is active.

Are the 1TB SATA SSD and 2TB 3.5-inch HDD both installed, or must I fit one myself?

Both drives come pre-installed — the 1TB SATA SSD and the 2TB 3.5-inch HDD — so the system is ready to boot straight out of the box.
