Ryzen 7 3700X desktop

This Velztorm Pilum system is a Windows 10 Pro desktop built around an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 memory, a 1TB SATA SSD for the operating system and a 6TB hard drive for bulk storage. A GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 8GB of GDDR6 memory drives the display outputs.

Buyers who want this configuration

The machine suits users who need eight processing threads and a dedicated GPU in a single box without assembling parts. It is not for buyers who want more storage than the listed 1TB SSD plus 6TB HDD, nor for builders who need a second graphics card or wireless connectivity.

RTX 3050 8GB GDDR6 graphics

The installed GeForce RTX 3050 provides 8GB of GDDR6 video memory and supports DirectX 12 and G-SYNC. This single specification determines whether the system meets the graphical performance target for the intended workload.

Questions about this item

Does the RTX 3050 run at PCIe 4.0 speeds on the Ryzen 7 3700X?

The CPU provides PCIe 3.0 lanes, so the RTX 3050 will operate at PCIe 3.0 x8 instead of its native 4.0 link.

Will a standard ATX motherboard fit inside the Pilum chassis?

The Pilum uses a proprietary mid-tower layout; only the factory motherboard is guaranteed to mount correctly.

How do I install the 120 mm AIO liquid cooler without trapping air?

Mount the radiator at the front or top with tubes pointing down, then run the pump at full speed for several minutes to bleed bubbles.
