Velztorm Pilum Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Pilum is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X eight-core processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 RAM and a dual-drive layout of 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD plus 1TB hard drive. Windows 10 Pro is installed and a 750W supply drives the system.

Suits 1080p players; not for 4K or VR

This configuration suits gamers targeting 1080p resolution with high refresh rates in competitive or mainstream titles. The eight-core CPU and 32GB memory also handle streaming and multitasking workloads. Buyers who want 4K gaming, heavy VR titles or workloads needing more GPU memory should look at a higher-tier graphics card.

RTX 3050 8GB GDDR6 decides fit

The GeForce RTX 3050 with 8GB GDDR6 is the single specification that determines whether this desktop matches your performance target. It delivers DirectX 12 support and G-SYNC compatibility for variable refresh displays. If your games demand more video memory or compute throughput, this GPU will be the limiting factor.

Questions about this item

What are the case dimensions and weight for the Velztorm Pilum?

The chassis measures 8.65 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 19.4 inches high and weighs 22.25 pounds, so verify desk clearance before ordering.

How is the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler mounted, and what step is often missed?

The cooler is pre-installed on the Ryzen 7 3700X; the step people miss is removing the shipping bracket that protects the pump during transit.

When will the 750W power supply or the 120mm AIO cooler need replacement?

The 750W unit typically lasts five to seven years; the 120mm AIO pump may need service after three to five years if coolant loss or noise appears.
