Velztorm Septex Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Septex is a pre-built gaming desktop assembled with an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 7700X processor and a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card. It ships with 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. A 360mm AIO liquid cooler and 1000W power supply support the components inside a black chassis running Windows 10 Home.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This system suits buyers who want a ready-to-use gaming PC with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. It is not for buyers who need more than 16GB of memory or more than 1TB of solid-state storage out of the box. It is also not for buyers who require a different operating system than Windows 10 Home.

Deciding specification

The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with 8GB GDDR6 memory is the single specification that decides whether this is the right part; it determines the graphical performance ceiling for gaming and VR-ready applications at PCIe 4.0 speeds.

Questions about this item

Does the box contain a monitor, keyboard and mouse or must they be purchased separately?

No screen is included with the Velztorm Septex desktop. The listing specifies a keyboard and mouse are not supplied, so you will need to buy a monitor and input devices separately.

Which RAM capacity and storage size should I select for 1440p gaming and multitasking?

The base configuration ships with 16GB DDR5 and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Options go up to 128GB DDR5 and 4TB NVMe plus additional HDD space; 32GB RAM and 2TB SSD give comfortable headroom for modern titles and background apps.

What frame rates can the RTX 3060 Ti 8GB deliver at 1440p with the Ryzen 7 7700X?

The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6 paired with the 8-core Ryzen 7 7700X typically reaches 60 to 100 FPS in current AAA games at 1440p high settings, and higher in esports titles, while the 360mm AIO keeps the CPU cool under sustained load.
