Ready-to-game desktop for 1440p enthusiasts

This Velztorm Septex system ships with Windows 11 Home installed and a Ryzen 7 7700X 8-core processor that reaches 5.4 GHz. The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card carries 8 GB of GDDR6 memory and supports DirectX 12. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR5 RAM and a 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD complete the core specification.

Black chassis with 360 mm liquid cooling

A 360 mm AIO cooler with RGB lighting handles the CPU thermal load while a 1000 W power supply feeds every component. Front and rear ports include two USB 3.0 Type-A sockets, four USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C and one USB 3.2 Type-C connection plus HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. Network access comes from WiFi 6 MT7921, Bluetooth 5.2 and a wired RJ-45 link.

Steps up from entry-level 1080p builds

The combination of 32 GB DDR5 and a 2 TB NVMe drive removes the memory and storage ceiling found on baseline configurations. Builders who need more than 32 GB of RAM or a second graphics card should look at a platform with additional DIMM slots and a larger power envelope.

Questions about this item

What PCIe generation does the RTX 3060 Ti use and what bandwidth limit does that set?

The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti connects over PCIe 4.0, capping the graphics link at the 4.0 lane rate for its 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer.

What case clearance is required for the 360 mm AIO liquid cooler?

The RGB 360 mm AIO needs a chassis that accepts a 360 mm radiator and matching fan mounts for the liquid CPU cooler.

How is the 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD installed and which step is often missed?

The 2 TB NVMe drive slots into the motherboard M.2 socket and must be secured with the retention screw so the PCIe 4.0 SSD stays firmly seated.
