Ready-to-game desktop

The Velztorm Septex arrives fully assembled with Windows 11 Home installed so it boots straight to the desktop. It targets enthusiasts who want a high-refresh 1440p or 4K rig without selecting and mounting parts themselves.

Physical installation

The chassis measures 11 by 17.5 by 17.5 inches and weighs 36 pounds, so plan a sturdy surface and room for the 360 mm AIO radiator. Only the power cord, display cable and peripherals need connecting; internal cabling is already routed.

Graphics performance ceiling

The Radeon RX 9070 XT with 16 GB GDDR6 and a 256-bit bus delivers the frame rates that define whether this system matches your target resolution and refresh rate. Buyers who need more video memory or a dual-GPU setup should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the Ryzen 7 7700X is reaching its 5.4GHz boost clock after setup?

Open Task Manager or a hardware monitor and run a single-threaded load; the CPU frequency should hit 5.4GHz on at least one core.

What comes in the box and what must I supply myself?

The system ships with the desktop, 1000W PSU, 360mm AIO, RGB fans, 64GB DDR5, 1TB PCIe SSD, Windows 11 Home, WiFi 6 MT7921, Bluetooth 5.2, and RJ-45; you must provide a monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Should I choose the 64GB DDR5 configuration or a different capacity?

This model is only offered with 64GB DDR5; if you need more or less memory you would have to select a different Velztorm configuration.
