System overview

The Velztorm Septex is a new gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X eight-core processor and a GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card with 8 GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 16 GB DDR5 RAM and a 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed.

Thermals and power

A 360 mm AIO liquid cooler with RGB lighting handles the CPU while a 1000 W power supply feeds the whole platform. WiFi 6 MT7921 and Bluetooth 5.2 share the board with a wired Ethernet port. The chassis measures 11 x 17.5 x 17.5 inches and weighs 36 lb.

Sustained load behaviour

Under prolonged gaming or rendering the large radiator keeps coolant temperatures stable so the Ryzen 7 7700X can hold its 5.4 GHz boost without throttling. The RTX 3070 maintains consistent frame rates in VR-ready titles thanks to steady power delivery from the 1000 W unit.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler and what step do builders often miss?

The 360mm AIO comes pre-installed on the Ryzen 7 7700X; the step often missed is removing the protective cover from the cold-plate before the first boot.

What maintenance will the 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need later?

The sealed 360mm AIO requires no coolant refills; only clean the radiator fins and check fan operation every 6–12 months.

What limit appears first on the RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 during sustained gaming loads?

The 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer fills before the GPU core hits its thermal ceiling, forcing texture streaming or resolution scaling.
