Velztorm Tentorix gaming desktop

The Velztorm Tentorix is a pre-built gaming desktop featuring a 4th Gen AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-core processor with 96MB cache, a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6, 32GB DDR4 memory and a 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD. A 240mm AIO liquid cooler and 750W power supply support the high-performance components. Windows 10 Home is installed with a Windows 11 Pro upgrade path available.

Who this system suits and who it does not

This system suits gamers and content creators who want strong 1440p or 4K performance in a ready-to-use tower with a large single SSD and liquid CPU cooling. Buyers who need more than 32GB of memory, additional internal drive bays for mechanical storage, or a newer CPU socket platform should consider other configurations.

Deciding specification: 96MB L3 cache on the Ryzen

The processor's 96MB L3 cache is the key differentiator for gaming workloads, reducing latency and lifting frame rates in cache-sensitive titles compared to standard 8-core designs. If your primary workload benefits from maximum cache capacity, this CPU justifies the build; if you prioritise higher core counts or newer platform features, a different processor would be more appropriate.

Questions about this item

What PCIe generation does the 4 TB SSD use, and what speed does that cap it at?

The 4 TB drive is a PCIe NVMe SSD, so its throughput is limited by the PCIe generation supported by the Ryzen 7 5800X3D platform.

What case clearance and motherboard mounting pattern does the 240 mm AIO require?

The 240 mm AIO liquid cooler needs a case with a 240 mm radiator mount and a standard AM4 socket bracket for the Ryzen 7 5800X3D.

How is Windows 10 Home activated on this system, and which step do builders often miss?

Windows 10 Home comes pre-installed and pre-activated; the step people miss is connecting to the internet so the digital licence binds to the hardware automatically.
