Velztorm Tentorix Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Tentorix is a pre-built gaming desktop configured with a 4th Gen AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-core processor, a GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6, 128GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. A 240 mm AIO liquid cooler and 750W power supply support the hardware. Windows 10 Pro is installed.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This system suits gamers and content creators who want a ready-to-use tower with high core counts, large memory capacity and fast NVMe storage for 1440p gaming and multitasking. Buyers who need more than 2TB of solid-state capacity or who require a newer GPU architecture for heavier workloads should consider other configurations.

Deciding specification: 96MB L3 cache on the Ryzen

The processor’s 96MB L3 cache is the single specification that most influences gaming frame rates and latency-sensitive workloads. If your software benefits from large last-level cache this build is a strong match; if your tasks scale mainly with raw clock speed or core count alone, a different CPU may be more appropriate.

Questions about this item

What PCIe generation does the RTX 3070's 4.0 interface run at on this Ryzen 5000 platform?

The graphics card connects through a PCIe 4.0 slot, so the RTX 3070 operates at its full 4.0 speed with the Ryzen 5000 series processor installed.

What clearance does the 240 mm AIO liquid cooler require inside the chassis?

The 240 mm radiator needs a mounting location that accepts a 240 mm radiator and two fan positions, typically on the case roof or front panel.

How is the 128 GB DDR4 memory populated across the motherboard slots?

The 128 GB DDR4 DIMM kit fills four slots with 32 GB modules each; the step people miss is seating every module until the retention clips click on both ends.
