Built for high-cache CPU workloads

The Velztorm Tentorix is a desktop gaming PC built around an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor with 96MB of L3 cache, 8 cores and 16 threads running up to 4.5 GHz. It ships with 64GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. A GeForce RTX 3050 with 8GB of GDDR6 provides the graphics output. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

Black chassis with 240mm liquid cooling

The black desktop tower uses a 750W power supply and a 240mm RGB AIO liquid cooler for the CPU. External connectivity includes 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and wired Ethernet. Front and rear I/O supplies USB 3.0 Type-A, four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 port, HDMI, DisplayPort and a headset jack. No optical drive or webcam is fitted.

96MB L3 cache decides fit for cache-sensitive tasks

The defining specification is the processor’s 96MB L3 cache, which accelerates workloads that benefit from large on-chip data retention such as certain simulation and gaming titles. Buyers who need more than 8 cores or a higher GPU tier for 4K rendering should consider other configurations. The 64GB DDR4 capacity and 2TB NVMe drive are fixed in this build.

Questions about this item

Does the RTX 3050 use a PCIe 4.0 interface and does that cap its bandwidth?

The RTX 3050 runs on PCIe 4.0 x8, so maximum throughput is limited to that link width even if the motherboard supports x16.

What clearance does the 240 mm AIO liquid cooler require inside the case?

The 240 mm radiator needs two adjacent fan mounting points and enough depth for the radiator thickness plus fans; the pump block fits standard AM4 retention brackets.

How is Windows 10 Pro activated after the system is first powered on?

Windows 10 Pro activates automatically once the PC connects to the internet; no product key entry is required during the initial setup.
