Velztorm Tentorix Gaming Desktop

This Velztorm Tentorix desktop arrives as a complete gaming system built around an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor with 96MB of L3 cache and a GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card carrying 8GB of GDDR6 memory. It includes 16GB of DDR4 system memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD for the operating system and games. The chassis is cooled by a 240mm AIO liquid cooler and powered by a 750W supply, with Windows 10 Home pre-installed.

Upgrade path from older Ryzen or lesser GPUs

The 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X3D with its large cache and the RTX 3070 8GB combination suits players moving up from earlier Ryzen 5000 CPUs or mid-range graphics cards who want higher frame rates at 1440p resolution. The jump is most noticeable in cache-sensitive titles and in games that benefit from the GPU's 8GB GDDR6 buffer. Buyers who need more than 1TB of fast storage or more than 16GB of RAM should look at the configurable options before ordering.

Pre-built with standard connections

The system ships fully assembled so installation is limited to placing the tower, connecting peripherals to the available USB 3.0 Type-A, four USB 3.2 Gen1, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, and the headphone/microphone combo jack. Network access uses 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 or the wired RJ-45 port. The only common issue is forgetting to seat the GPU power cables firmly after transit, which can prevent the card from initialising.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 240mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need inside the case?

How is the GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card installed, and what step is often missed?
