Mini-tower gaming desktop

The Velztorm Vertix is a pre-built gaming desktop in a grey mini-tower chassis. It ships with a 5th Gen AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core processor, 32GB DDR4 memory, 4TB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage across two 2TB drives and a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6. Windows 10 Home is installed and a 750W power supply drives the system.

Upgrade path from smaller SSD or less RAM

The 4TB dual-drive array replaces a single smaller SSD or a mixed SSD and HDD setup, removing the need to juggle install locations. Moving from 16GB to 32GB DDR4 gives headroom for heavy multitasking and memory-hungry titles without paging. The jump is worth it when the current drive is full or when 16GB forces the system to swap during play.

Straightforward component access

The mini-tower layout exposes the CPU liquid cooler, GPU, memory slots and M.2 drives once the side panel is removed. Common issues are the front-panel USB 3.1 Gen1 and USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 headers being tight to reach, and the 750W supply cables needing careful routing to avoid the 120mm AIO radiator. Reseating the GPU after transport fixes most no-signal reports.

Questions about this item

Will the Mini Tower case and 750W power supply fit the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler and Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card?

The Vertix Mini Tower chassis is built around a 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler in turquoise and a 750W supply, both sized for the 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X and the 16GB GDDR6 Radeon RX 6900 XT.

Which steps are required to seat the 32GB DDR4 memory and the two 2TB PCIe NVMe SSDs during the custom build?

Technicians open the manufacturer box, install the 32GB DDR4 DIMM modules into the motherboard slots, mount both 2TB PCIe NVMe SSDs, then test and inspect the complete system before resealing it.

What components may need replacement after extended gaming sessions on this configuration?

The 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler pump or radiator fans, the 750W power supply, and the 32GB DDR4 memory modules are the parts most likely to require service after heavy long-term use.
