Velztorm Vertix Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Vertix is a pre-built gaming desktop configured with an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 5800X processor, 64GB of DDR4 memory, and a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6. It ships with Windows 10 Pro installed and includes a 750W power supply. The mini-tower chassis features RGB lighting on a 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler in turquoise.

PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 Storage Limits

The system provides 4TB of total capacity across two 2TB PCIe NVMe SSDs. Sequential read and write speeds are bounded by the PCIe generation supported by the CPU and motherboard, which for this platform is PCIe 3.0 and 4.0. Real-world throughput will not exceed the limits of those interfaces. No mechanical hard drives are included.

Upgrading from Lower-Core or Smaller-Storage Builds

This configuration replaces a system with fewer CPU cores, less DDR4 memory, or a smaller SSD array. The jump is worth it when workloads such as high-refresh-rate gaming, content creation, or heavy multitasking demand the 8-core processor, 64GB capacity, and 4TB of fast storage simultaneously. Buyers who need more internal drive bays or a larger form factor should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 64GB DDR4 option or a smaller RAM size?

The 64GB DDR4 configuration matches the 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X and Radeon RX 6900 XT for high-frame-rate gaming and heavy multitasking. Smaller 16GB or 32GB kits are offered but will limit simultaneous workloads.

What does the 4.7 GHz boost clock deliver in actual games?

The Ryzen 7 5800X reaches 4.7 GHz on lightly threaded game logic, keeping frame rates high in CPU-bound titles while the RX 6900 XT handles 16GB GDDR6 graphics work.

Which USB standard caps the fastest port on this PC?

USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 is the quickest port, supporting up to 10 Gbps for external NVMe SSDs or high-speed docks.
