White Ferrux Desktop

The White Ferrux desktop pairs a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor with 128GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. It targets creators and multitaskers who need high thread counts and large memory capacity for rendering, virtualization or heavy workloads.

Liquid Cooling and Connectivity

A 240mm AIO liquid CPU cooler with RGB lighting handles thermal loads from the 12-core chip inside the white chassis. The rear I/O supplies 2 USB 3.0 Type-A, 4 USB 3.1 Gen2, 2 USB 2.0, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2, HDMI, DisplayPort and a headphone/microphone combo jack for peripherals and displays.

GTX 1050 Ti Limits

The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB GDDR5 supports DirectX 12 but lacks the compute throughput for modern ray-traced titles or high-refresh 1440p gaming. Buyers who need higher frame rates at 1440p or 4K, or who rely on hardware-accelerated AI workloads, should consider a system with a more powerful graphics card.

Questions about this item

What PCIe generation does the 2 TB NVMe SSD use and what throughput ceiling does that impose?

The 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD connects over the platform's PCIe lanes, so its practical ceiling is the bandwidth of the PCIe generation supported by the Ryzen 9 5900X and the motherboard chipset.

What physical clearance does the 240 mm AIO liquid cooler need inside the chassis?

The 240 mm AIO liquid CPU cooler requires a mounting location that accepts two fans side by side and enough depth for the radiator and fan assembly.

How is the 128 GB DDR4 memory installed and which step do builders often miss?

The 128 GB DDR4 DIMM kit fills the motherboard's DIMM slots; the step often missed is seating each module until the retention clips click on both ends.
