White Pilum Ryzen 7 Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm White Pilum is a pre-built gaming desktop built around an 8-core Ryzen 7 5700X processor and a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 system memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 11 Home is installed and the system includes a 750W power supply, a 120mm AIO cooler and RGB lighting in a white chassis.

PCIe 5.0 GPU Interface and Connectivity

The Radeon RX 9070 XT uses a PCIe 5.0 x16 interface for communication with the CPU and chipset. On platforms limited to PCIe 4.0 the link will operate at the lower generation speed, which may reduce peak bandwidth in some workloads. Wireless networking is provided by WiFi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 5.0; wired Ethernet uses a standard RJ-45 port.

Motherboard Memory Slots and Display Outputs

The system arrives with 32GB of DDR4 DIMM memory installed; verify the number of free slots on the motherboard if you plan to add more capacity later. Video output options are one HDMI port and one DisplayPort on the graphics card. Ensure your monitor has a compatible input and cable before ordering.

Questions about this item

Is the 32GB DDR4 memory enough for modern games or should I add more?

The system ships with 32GB DDR4 DIMM, which meets the recommended capacity for current AAA titles and leaves headroom for streaming or background apps.

What does the Radeon RX 9070 XT boost clock of 2.97GHz mean for frame rates?

The GPU can reach 2.97GHz boost clock with 16GB GDDR6 and 640 GB/sec bandwidth, delivering high frame rates at 1440p and playable 4K in demanding titles.

Does the PCIe 5.0 graphics interface work with the motherboard in this build?

The Radeon RX 9070 XT uses PCIe 5.0 x16, and the platform supports that link speed so the card runs at its full 256-bit, 640 GB/sec potential.
