The Venstar T4800 is a commercial-grade digital thermostat designed for multi-stage HVAC systems. It supports up to four heating stages and two cooling stages, making it suitable for gas/electric or heat pump configurations. Installers can select 7-day, 4+1+1 day or single-day programming with up to three occupied periods per day. The unit requires a common power wire for operation.

WiFi Module and Display Features

The included ACC-VWF1 WiFi module adds remote connectivity to the thermostat. Its scrolling display simplifies initial setup and can be customised to show a dealer name, phone number and alert messages. Adjustable backlight intensity and colour-coded buttons with legends improve visibility and ease of use in varied lighting conditions. The interface supports auto-changeover, heat-only or cool-only modes.

Multi-Stage Capacity and Limits

Four heating and two cooling stages provide capacity for larger commercial zones with staged equipment. The three occupied periods per day handle typical business schedules but may not cover complex multi-shift patterns. Programming flexibility is limited to the three predefined schedule formats. Systems requiring more than four heating stages, two cooling stages or additional schedule types fall outside this thermostat's capabilities.
