This VENTURE accessory adds three stick-on infrared emitters to an existing IR repeater system. It lets a single 3.5 mm mono plug drive multiple AV components hidden in a cabinet or another room. Installers or home-automation enthusiasts use it to keep gear out of sight while retaining full remote control. The clear adhesive film mounts each emitter directly over the device’s IR window.

3.5 mm mono plug and 10 ft cable

The extender terminates in a 3.5 mm mono mini plug compatible with standard IR connecting blocks and distribution amplifiers. A 10 ft lead gives routing flexibility along baseboards or through conduit. No power supply or active circuitry is included; the unit relies entirely on the host IR system for signal current. Distance beyond the supplied cable requires a separate extension.

Three emitters per plug

Three emitters share one plug, so a single output port can control up to three components such as a cable box, Blu-ray player and AV receiver. Each emitter’s infrared output is non-visible and blinks only when commands are transmitted. The kit includes spare double-sided tape for repositioning. Systems needing more than three emitters or longer runs will need additional distribution hardware.
